Arriving and setting up

Unloading

You must unload on the morning of the show between 9.30am and 11.30am – all displays and stands must be complete by 11.30am.
Drop off on Gore Street at the side of the hotel.
The exhibition area is on the same level inside.

Please promptly move your vehicle to a car park elsewhere so your fellow exhibitors can also unload.

Inevitably during set-up there is a bit of commotion, so your patience is greatly appreciated while all our exhibitors unload and set up.

If you think you may need help, please contact the venue to arrange a porter before arriving.

Parking

There is no on-site parking for exhibitors at this venue.

On-street parking elsewhere is typically very limited.
There is an NCP car park at Piccadilly Plaza, New York Street, Manchester, M1 4AJ.
There are other car parks nearby like Piccadilly Basin and  Euro Parks in Aytoun Street .

Your exhibition space

When you arrive, look out for a member of the team who will guide you to your allocated space in one of two show areas.

Your space includes one clothed trestle table and two chairs unless you have booked additional space or made alternative arrangements in advance.

Pull-up or small displays may be used providing they replace or fit behind your table and they do not obstruct gangways or encroach on other exhibitors’ space.

Note: The venue does not permit fittings or displays that may mark or damage walls.

We ask for your patience whilst setting up and breaking down the show. We will always try to help you and on occasion we may jiggle spots and tables around slightly to ensure all exhibitors gain the best possible exposure.

Power

Only regular 240V AC power is available for lights or other small power consumption equipment.
Remember to bring a PAT tested extension lead with you – the venue and the Gay Wedding Show will have a limited number available for hire on the day.

Entertainment, ceremonies and your hostess

Among the trademarks of our shows are vibrancy, interaction and fun.
At times throughout the day our hostess, singers or musicians may be circulating and performing, consequently, at certain times the music levels will increase.

There may also be example ceremonies on the day. At these times some couples will make their way to the ceremony area. Typically after a ceremony couples return inspired and keen to continue their discovery of what’s available for their day.

Show close

The show typically closes around 3.00-3.30. Please do not begin breaking down your displays while visitors are still present.
