Written by Published in Our History

On the 25th November 2007, Fonda Cox took the lead and unfolded a day of pure magic, excitement, new and old friends and the largest number of visitors to the show ever. The ceremonies were heart felt and moving, singers pure rhythm and blues and yet again the show bought visitors some of the best suppliers in the UK together to offer our couples everything they need to range their special day with a finale that bought the roof down from the amazing 3 waiters.

2007’s shows have ended and we are proud to have helped over 1000 visitors in a one month tour of Cardiff, Manchester and Brighton.

Gino Meriano, founder said “Brighton was electrifying, the air with filled with fun, style, and some amazing new creative ideas that will keep the gay market streets ahead. It’s time to look at our market and show this amazing fresh approach to weddings shows for the future. I am proud and honored to have such a fantastic range of some of the most outstanding exhibitors I have ever seen, where have they all been hiding?

2008 is going to be bigger and better than ever and celebrating our 5th year birthday we have some amazing new surprises so watch this space and remember there is only 1 official Gay Wedding Show, created for the community by people who care and have a passion for our rights and the desire to make a difference, beware of imitations”.
