Manchester Gay Wedding Show a success

Remember, Remember the 6th November when Manchester Town Hall opened its doors to the first ever official Gay Wedding Show.

With over 60 suppliers, the Pink City in the Lord Mayors Parlour for all our legal experts, Amazing acts, 2 to go (from X Factor 2004), Oyster Opera and the band Silk performed to their hearts desire and even a gay inflatable Santa Claus kicked the day off like no other show.

Seeing over 100 people walk in the door in the first half hour alone, Manchester definitely took the lead in showing support to the gay community when promoting the Civil Partnership.

Gino Meriano and Ben Spence, organisers of the Gay Wedding Show said it was a truly amazing event, we were blown away by the efforts made by the exhibitors for our day and to see over 600 people walk though the Town Hall doors was a great sign that Manchester is in the forefront of commitment and dedication.

The Gay Wedding Show Manchester came into its own yesterday, with requests of another show, new suppliers attending on the day to gain a sneak preview of what had been planned, how could we say no. Gino and Ben will bring the show back in 2006, so watch this space.

With only two shows left Cardiff and Brighton. It seems we have a lot to compete with, now Manchester is over, The Town Hall became the perfect backdrop in creating yet another first for the team at the Gay Wedding Show
