22nd October 2006 – Brighton The Gay Wedding Show.
The day was a huge success, with around 500 visitors we had a jam packed day full of events, great suppliers, entertainers and singers to keep everyone happy.
With over 60 exhibitors, legal help and more couples truly had everything they needed to make their day special – the vibrant air filled the halls of the Hilton Metropole and truly established the show as the UK’s only and official “Gay Wedding Show”
From Tenors to Opera, 3 waiters and comic characters to our fire and ice statues the day exploded into colour and life, so much so two couples proposed at our show which was a first for us and the four example ceremonies even bought tears to the visitors eyes
Gino Meriano and Ben Spence, organisers of the Gay Wedding Show said it was a truly amazing event, we were blown away by the efforts made by the exhibitors for our day and to see over 500 visitors walk though the doors was a great sign that Brighton has retained its title of the UK’s Gay Capital.
